The song was about the Spanish Civil War, and the idealism of volunteers from around the world who joined the International Brigade fighting Franco's military rebels against the Spanish Republic

Normally I see it as a good thing to criticise an increasingly fascist Israeli state, but aren't you being a bit racist?remember there is a diffrence between peace loving Judaism and a the state of Israel, you wouldn't criticise the whole of christianity because of the aggresive policies of the USA

Fascist= large governments have you looked at Mussolini's fascist Italy, the reality is that fascist can mean any government that seeks to control it's population. It's only right-centre Conservatives that seek small governments, though curiosly not for small military.

Wow, he said "Fascist" in this song.Well, at least he understands that governments should be small in size like the founders of the U.S.A. designed the U.S. Republic, so as to avoid that problem.But still, contemporary liberals and "progressives" can't get enough of government and want more, more, more.... in the name of "tolerance" and "cosmic justice".Asshats.
