he's telling the story about a couple that was so in love that they would always wait for eachother, no matter how long it was all that mattered was that they were together. She was going to die but kept saying she was going to wait for him to get there, but he was too late. So she left him a note saying she'd meet him in Heaven and won't enter without him.
