Dear cheeserborger,GREAT call. Very well said. Neil Young's 'Like a Hurricane' has a comparable impact. I've always loved Neil Young's work and Hurricane is perhaps his most DEVASTATING tune. Absolute mind wrenching guitar work.

This Blues Masterpiece has never received the attention it deserves, due in part to Parliment being a Funk band.Maggott Brain was a departure for them.I think that may contribute to it's affect. It hasn't been played to f_cking DEATH. I feel like it's MINE when I hear it. Especially at 6:35 - Makes me feel RIGHT. With the exception of the bass, a few words and effects, this is ALL Eddie Hazel, and it is his crowning achievement. Earned him his place next to Jimi in Rock Eternity.
