What's your problem anyway. According to what your saying it must be the case that you had a couple of very disturbing and traumatizing experiences with bipolar people (the one your met?). I guess you are very upset with that. I feel sorry for you. Maybe you should see a doctor to help you deal with your major issues.

Show some respect for this illness. No one chooses to get this disease and would give a million to not have it. There are many bipolars who lead a normal life. I know 3 bipolars and they are all very dear to me. It's not their choice! So get over that and show a little empathy. Your reaction shows that you don't care about other people's illnesses. Your way of thinking is very hurting and dispicable.

Christennicolesmith, he is also saying there doesn't really need to be a reason for the feeling, or "extrem".

If you are on meds and things are getting a bit normal. try exercising with it, eating better (balance your body and balance your brain.) keep your self relatively busy if you can, it helps you to learn to rewire your mind to focus.

i like being hypomanic, mania can be very rough and the higher the mania - usually the more severe the depression - in my case anyway.

mania isn't good for me, at times i prefer my depression (i'm BP)

I agree i once stayed awake for 2 days on a mania episode.I went nuts with paranoia,Ended up driving up and down streets marking them off in a street directory looking for this prick who shit me.All i knew was the town he lived in and what car he drove lol.Needless to say i ended up in prison

So basically what he is saying is that the normal feelings of happiness and sadness that we feel are much more exaggerated in people who have bipolar disorder. They feel extremely happy or extremely sad and can't control it.
