poor guy... my mother is Psychiatrists and i'm a med student. an anti-psychiatry attitude will not help you... if you are still suffering from a depression you should on meds but it sound like you are suffering from bipolar. you should try OLANZAPINE. You need help and don't turn down the people who are trying to help you. i hope you can prove them wrong. my heart goes out to you. be strong.

Tristen my heart goes out to you,Iknow what your going through and I would love to abuse those people that abused you. I went through foster care myself and had to take meds.

This is a good kid with a good heart. I wish I could adopt him! He's NOT a throw-away! Tristin, I am praying for you. You're a beautiful young man. Turn around and help someone else in foster care as soon as you are able.

This story is very alarming. I have worked with Foster Children in a number of capacities. I noticed several of the girls had numerous meds as mentioned in the this video. But.. there was only one that I thought really needed meds. I didn't understand why there was a med to help control anger. I figure, if you are angry, maybe you have something to be angry about! Thanks for sharing your story and I believe that you can be anything you want! Go for it!

Tristen, it's awesome that you did this documentary. you are on top now- helping the world by speaking up. thank you. it's an encouragement to me. the state locked my dad up for what he did- fine, but they convinced him to divorce my mom and stay away from his children by offering him a lighter sentence.my family has been on medication all my life, and now my wife of all people wants me on medication. so i took seroquil and it was horrible. i could only take it 1 day before i said No Way.

no one understands that there r 2 parts to foster care; placing the child in a loving and caring home and then treating that child for all of the psychological effects that foster care will have on him at the moment and most definitely, in the future. Fostered children need so much more support than i think is currently being offered and i hope i can be of help to someone who is suffering the pain of being a fostered child. |
